Mission
MI pursues opportunities that leverage the intellectual property and innovations that arise from MTU/MTRI funded research. MI will focus on building the reputation of both MTU/MTRI and the appropriate technical staff members in a positive manner such that MI and MTU/MTRI become the go-to place for innovative and rigorous solutions to challenging problems.
Vision
MI will become the established for-profit arm of MTU/MTRI for exploiting MTU/MTRI IP and innovations. MI will provide a means to capitalize and monetize the innovations in those business opportunities that are not available to MTU/MTRI.
